40417 Media Handler MDH: Please close plate cover, or put the preloader into position Trendsetter_400/800 Trendsetter_400/800_ContinuousLoad Trendsetter_400/800_Autoloader Trendsetter_NEWS The picker cannot move unless the plate cover is closed, or the preloader is positioned properly in front of the Trendsetter. For the preloader: use the <<preloader>> command to check the status of the "in-place" sensor. This signal will go low if the Preloader is not positioned properly in front of the Trendsetter. It will also go low if the Preloader is not fully turned on (power to PLC is turned off), if the front door is open, or if the Preloader's emergency stop switch is pressed. For the plate cover: the sensor status may be checked by using the <<picker>> command. The plate cover sensor status should read BLOCKED if the plate cover sensor is activated. With the key-switch in the normal position, the picker cannot move unless this sensor indicates that the door is closed. Disabling the sensor through firmware does not allow the picker to move. Close the hinged plate cover door and select the RESUME button on the workstation dialog box, or Position the preloader properly in front of the Trendsetter or check the alignment of the Preloader. This error is reported. Preloader is not positioned properly. The plate cover door is probably open. The plate cover door may be obstructed by something. The plate cover door sensors may be damaged, or not adjusted correctly.
